Zora- LONGEST RESIDENT

Intake 4/11/24

Meet Zora!

Zora came to us from a cruelty/neglect situation, and she was emaciated and in rough shape when she came in. That did not keep her from being a normal sweet pittie who loves to sit directly in your lap and give kisses, and get booty scratches. She has learned about toys since getting to our shelter, and seems to like playing with tennis balls the best.

Zora is always happy to see people, even though she had a rough start in life. She is always sweet to humans of all ages and sizes, but she struggles to try to live with another dog or cat. So far she’s never caught one, but she does love to chase cats. She needs to be the only pet in the home, because she loves humans so much she does NOT want to share the attention!

We do think Zora might do well playing with another dog on a regular basis, but she doesn’t do well living in the same household with one.

Zora is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, and tested negative for heartworm.
