Meet Yakko!

Yakko is a 3-month-old puppy. We were told he is a Jack Russel Terrier mix, but we don’t know what he’s mixed with. Although a small dog, he’s on the larger side for a JRT. He’s very sweet, and kind of timid when he first meets you. All of the shelter chaos is pretty terrifying for him, and we are hoping to get him adopted as soon as possible!

Yakko came in with his brother and sister, and both of them are already in foster-to-adopt situations so he’s the last one left. He’s very food motivated and loves treats and getting loved on by our staff.

This very energetic pup is doing great on a leash and is very smart. He’s learning basic commands from our kennel attendants, such as Sit, Stay, Down, and Heel. His love of treats makes him a lot easier to train than some dogs!

Yakko is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, and is too young to test for heartworm.
