Meet Raphael!

Raphael is a 2-year-old Wooly Coated Siberian Husky. Before coming to our shelter, he was kept outside in a small kennel and used for breeding. He’s never had a home with a family, and toys, and a yard to run around in.

Because of his history, we are working to help him show interest in playing, walking, and just snuggling. He is not affected by other dogs or cats' behaviors here at the shelter. He’s learning what toys are, and he’s learning that human affection can be a really great thing. He needs someone that is ready to take their time to show him how to be a dog.

We think that Raphael would do great in a home with another laid-back dog that can show him how to live the good life, in a home with a family. He’s only 2 and has a lot of years ahead of him!

Raphael is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations, and tested negative for heartworm.
